Sandhills Publishing, the host of Machinery Trader, Truckpaper, Tractorhouse, Marketbook, and AuctionTime.com, hosted their annual Dealer Forum this last week in Lincoln, NE. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend. The 68 acre campus houses four unique buildings including a multi-media building and their own print/publishing building.
Our rep, Ryan Fattig, treated us to a guided tour followed by a great lunch and wonderful dinner. In between, Sandhills Publishing demonstrated the effective use of its internet usage, mobile applications, and how to promote the use of their auction site - AuctionTime.com. The hospitality was top notch with always someone there to help if needed. I was able to network with a variety of people and business from across the United States. It's connections like this that pay off in the future for small businesses.
If you ever get a chance to stop by and see this facility, or want to learn more about the company, I highly recommend taking the time. Equipment Link was able to learn valuable insights for the future of our company. We appreciate everything Machinery Trader does for us and we hope someday to send all of our employees to see the excellent setup Sandhills Publishing has created for itself.
